Every project is a tree. The people who own its work perch on the branch as birds. The agents you hand work to are origamis: folded paper, tied by a thread to the person who answers for them. Why a waitlist?
We open TabTree in waves, at a pace we can support well. Plant your seed and you get a number; when your turn comes we email you, you create your account, and it starts with a free trial of Pro. Someone already on TabTree can invite you right away: a teammate's invitation skips the wait. If you already have an account, nothing changes for you. We keep only your address and your tree's species for this.
How is this different from Trello, Asana or Notion?
Those tools hold what people type into them. TabTree starts from a map, keeps the map and the board as one document, and computes the stand-up, the dashboard and the retro from what actually moved. The AI proposes changes; a person applies them.
Is it real-time?
Yes, in a shared space. Each change — a card moved, renamed, checked or assigned — reaches your teammates as you make it, and you see who is on the board, which card each person is editing and what they are typing. When two people work on the same board at once, their changes are combined instead of being split into two copies, and the versions from before stay readable. If two people change the same text at the same moment, the later one wins: typing in the same sentence together is not in the product. Undo works on your own steps, and everyone sees it. Between your own devices, a change arrives within about twenty seconds.
Is TabTree in French?
Yes — switch it in your account. Signing in, getting started, your account, the team bar and the morning stand-up email are in French today, and the canvas itself gains French with each update. The AI always answers in the language of your map.
Once I'm in, can my team use TabTree for free?
Yes. On the Free plan you can invite three people into one shared space, by email or by link, and they edit with you: they move cards, comment and see who is on the board, each on a free account of their own, without waiting in the nursery. Invitations still waiting count toward the three, and the space's maps count in your ten synced maps. To go further, Pro adds people who only read and comment, and a second shared space; more editors take the Team plan, 14 days free, no card.
How does the Team plan work?
You pay for each member who edits; people who only read and comment are free. Every member gets everything in Pro — unlimited synced maps, AI credits, the Claude connector. The whole team starts with 14 days free, no card.
What happens when I stop paying?
You move to the Free plan — nothing is deleted, nothing locks. Every map stays readable, editable and exportable, and ten of them keep syncing across your devices. New maps beyond those ten simply stay on the device you made them on until you upgrade. Relayed AI credits stop; your own Claude key keeps working.
What are AI credits?
Pro includes 600 AI credits every month, so the magic box, the stand-up suggestions, the triage and the retro work without any key or account elsewhere. Every AI button shows its price before you click: a magic box is 2 credits, a whole system from a brief 10 (a first plan and its expert review), a board chat turn 10; expanding a node and icons are included. Nothing is charged when the AI fails. Credits renew each month and do not roll over. Doing the same work in Claude with the TabTree connector costs no credits. Requests are relayed by tabtree.app to Anthropic and never stored.
Does it work offline, and on my phone?
Yes. TabTree runs in your browser and installs as an app on your laptop and your phone. Edits are saved locally straight away and sync when you are back online.
Where is my data stored?
In the European Union (Paris), on Supabase. Every row is isolated to your account at the database level. The app carries a data-processing statement that lists exactly which servers it can talk to.
Do I have to use the AI features?
No. TabTree is complete without them. AI is opt-in, and nothing is sent anywhere unless you ask for it.
Can I get my data out?
Any map exports as a file, an image, a PDF, a video or a carousel. There is no proprietary lock — a map is a plain document you keep.
