New maps beyond those ten simply stay on the device you made them on until you upgrade. Relayed AI credits stop; your own Claude key keeps working.
What exactly is in Free?
The whole app: all six views, 87 templates (the Pro ones — the Second Brain Blueprint — need Pro, the 14-day trial does not unlock them; the Work map method is sold separately), offline, installable on your phone, every export. The account syncs ten maps across your devices; on each device you can keep as many maps as you like. AI needs your own Claude key on Free — Pro includes credits.
What are AI credits?
Pro includes 5 million AI credits every month, so the magic box, the copilot and the coaches work without any key or account elsewhere — roughly 1,400 maps a month. Unused credits roll over for up to two months. Requests are relayed by tabtree.app to Anthropic and never stored.
Does it work offline?
Yes. TabTree runs in your browser and installs as an app. Edits are saved locally straight away and sync when you are back online.
Can I get my data out?
Any map exports as a file, an image, a PDF, a video or a carousel. There is no proprietary lock — a map is a plain document you keep.
Where is my data stored?
In the European Union (Paris), on Supabase. Every row is isolated to your account at the database level. The app carries a data-processing statement that lists exactly which servers it can talk to.
Do I have to use the AI features?
No. TabTree is complete without them. AI is opt-in, and nothing is sent anywhere unless you ask for it.
