TabTree · The method

The method

Move, don't report.

The team's only duty is to move cards. The board remembers every move. The AI reads what the board remembers and proposes. A human clicks. Three laws, and the product enforces each one — which is why a team learns it in an afternoon.

1

One truth, seven views

A card is a node of your map. The same node is a kanban card, a timeline bar, a calendar entry, a line in a page, a row in a sheet, and an item in each person's My work. Reorder the board and the plan reorders.

2

The board remembers, so nobody reports

Every move goes into the board's memory. The stand-up, the dashboard, the sprint report and the retro are all computed from it. The status meeting becomes a button.

3

The AI reads facts and proposes. A human clicks.

The AI never recounts your board: it gets the facts the app computed and answers with changes you tick or untick — or that you dictate. Apply is one click, undo is one ⌘Z.

The rhythm

Every ritual is one button on the board. Two minutes a day for the team, ten for the owner.

Every day

Move your cards

That is the whole stand-up contribution. Someone with nothing to move moves nothing.

Every morning

The stand-up comes to you

What moved, what is stuck, what is due — in everyone's inbox before the day starts.

Monday

AI triage

An owner, a label, a priority and an estimate for every new card. Untick what you disagree with.

Friday

The dashboard

Throughput, cycle time, workload per person, and a forecast of the finish.

When you decide

Close the sprint

The report freezes. The AI writes the retro from the numbers and names one change to try.

Where the AI sits

The question is not whether a tool has AI. It is where the AI sits in the loop — and most stop at level 0.

Level 0

The chatbot rewrites what you typed

You paste your status into a chat. The source is still a human report, with everything a human forgot.

Level 1

The AI reads the real state of the work

Reports come from what moved, not from anyone's memory. The AI cannot invent a number, because it never counts.

Level 2 · TabTree

The AI proposes, your team approves

Triage, suggested moves, dictated changes and the retro land in one review panel. The team keeps authority over its own board.

Teams

Your team, running in two hours.

Day one, you build the board and bring the team in. The next morning, the stand-up is already waiting for everyone. That is the morning the habit starts.

0:00

Paste your plan

It becomes the map and the cards. Pick a rhythm: Basic, Scrum, Sales or Support.

0:15

Invite the team

By email or by link, into a shared space.

0:30

Three cards each

Everyone takes their cards and moves one. The board's memory starts here.

0:50

First stand-up, live

Read it together, send it to the team chat. The last status meeting held by hand.

Next morning

It comes to them

The stand-up is in everyone's inbox before the day starts. Nobody wrote it.

A shared space

Teammates edit with you, comment on any card and see who else is on the board. Admins invite and manage the space with you.

An owner for every card

Write down who is on the board — role, what each person owns. Claude proposes an owner for every new card, shows its reason, and waits for your OK.

Shared where your team talks

One click sends the stand-up to WhatsApp or by email. It names the stuck card, never a person to blame.

My work

Each person sees their own cards from every board, in one list. The digest reads from it.

On every phone

Installs as an app, works offline and syncs when you are back. Long-press a card to drag it.

A garden that grows

Every card you finish grows your tree. A daily ring, a streak and 23 badges for the habits of the method — and one switch to turn it off. Close a sprint and share its season recap; on a team space, your teammates' trees stand together in one forest.

Start with your own project.

Describe it on the home page and watch it grow into a tree — then plant your seed in the nursery.
